In Carpentry, over the course
of three years, students will learn:
- How to properly use electric tools such as a table saw
- Basic tools, such as anything from the type of hammer to
which nail to use
- How to identify every kind of wood and when to use it
- How to frame, apply siding, roofing, and the uses of concrete
- Technical terms such as the Massachusetts Building Code
- About zoning, milling process, joinery, sanding, assembly,
and finishing
