Transportation Fee Waiver Guidelines
TRANSPORTATION FEE WAIVER AND GUIDELINES
If your household income falls within the guidelines established by the federal government to qualify your child for free or reduced lunch prices, Attleboro Public Schools will waive the transportation fees for bus service. The guidelines presented here for 2016-2017 are preliminary and are subject to change.

To receive the waiver:
1. Complete and submit an application for Fee for Service Transportation.
2. Attach to the application a copy of your 2015 1040 tax return along with copies of all W-2s in a sealed envelope to assure privacy. You may omit any supporting schedules.
Option B- Provide all check stubs for the previous 8 weeks prior to submitting your application. Along with check stubs for ALL household members please provide documentation for other items such as alimony, child support, disability payments both regular and VA, social security, or any other type of monetary funds received.
Option C – If you currently receive SNAP or TANF please provide a copy of your most recent approval letter from the DTA. Letter must be within the last six months of FFS application.
3. All information on you application and tax return will be kept in the
Strictest confidence. The application will be used for the sole purpose of determining eligibility for a waiver of transportation fees.
4. A family may apply for a waiver of fees any time during the school year. If
you do not qualify now, but there is a change in the household income, complete an application at that time.
