COVID-19 vs. Seasonal Allergies
COVID-19 and seasonal allergies share many symptoms, but there are some key differences between the two. For example, COVID-19 can cause fever, which is not a common symptom of seasonal allergies.
Because some of the symptoms of COVID-19 and seasonal allergies ar similar, it may be difficult to tell the difference between the, and you may need to get a test to confirm your diagnosis.
COVID SYMPTOMS
Please STAY HOME if you have any of the symptoms listed below:
Temperature >/= 100.0 F without fever reducing medication
Chills
Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
Cough
New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Muscle aches or body aches
Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
Headache, in combination with other symptom
Fatigue, in combination with other symptom
Nasal congestion or runny nose (not due to other known cause, such as allergies), in combination with other symptom
Note that some symptoms of COVID-19 are the same as the flu or a bad cold; please do not assume it is another condition.
