Our English Language Arts Curriculum incorporates a variety of research based resources to help us best meet the requirements of the Massachusetts English Language Arts and Literacy Frameworks and prepare all students to be college and career ready. Each day Attleboro students in grades K-8 are provided opportunities to read, think, write, and talk about rich and engaging texts. Through explorations of literature, poetry, drama, and nonfiction they build vocabulary, increase reading fluency, learn text structures, and apply critical thinking skills. They analyze author’s craft, share insights, and write essays, narratives, and reflections. Along the way, they make connections to new ideas, each other, and the wider community.
