Brennan Color Run 2026!

Our 5th graders had an amazing time on their field trip to Old Sturbridge Village! 💙💚
Students stepped back in time as they explored what life was like in the 1800s. From visiting historic homes and shops to watching demonstrations and learning about daily life long ago, it was a day full of hands-on learning and memorable experiences.
A big thank you to our teachers, staff, and chaperones for helping make this trip such a success!

Today we welcomed back some very special visitors, our graduating seniors! 🎓💙💚
It was wonderful to see them walk the halls of their old middle school once again and reflect on how far they’ve come. Around here, we believe “Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog,” and today was a perfect reminder of the lasting connection our students have with Brennan Middle School.
We are so proud of all they have accomplished and wish them the very best as they begin their next chapter. Congratulations, seniors. Your Bulldog family will always be cheering you on! 🐾

Our Civics Fair was a huge success! 🇺🇸
It was incredible to see our students showcase their hard work, creativity, and passion for topics that matter to them and their communities. From research and presentations to thoughtful discussions, our students truly impressed everyone who listened. 💙💚

It was so exciting to meet our incoming 5th graders tonight! Thank you to all the families who came out to learn more about the transition to 5th grade!

A great performance by our own BMS chorus! Great job everyone!

Today and yesterday we welcomed our newest Bulldogs as 4th graders came to tour Brennan Middle School! 💙💚
It was a great opportunity for students to explore the building, meet staff, and get a glimpse of where they will spend the next four years growing, learning, and making memories. We loved seeing their excitement and enthusiasm for this next chapter!
We hope to see families back tonight at 6:00 PM for our Grade 4 to 5 Transition Night to learn even more about what to expect in 5th grade. Welcome to the Brennan Bulldog family! 🐾

We are excited to welcome our incoming 5th graders to Brennan Middle School! Join us for an informative evening to learn more about the transition to middle school and what to expect next year. We can’t wait to meet you!

Today we had a special visit from Willow, a therapy dog from the high school! Willow came to visit with a group of students working on a civics project focused on the important role therapy dogs play in supporting others. Students asked thoughtful questions and learned more about how therapy dogs help people in schools and communities. A special thank you to Mrs. DiPalma for bringing Willow over to Brennan for such a meaningful experience for our students!

Mr. Yangambi took another pie to the face today to help raise money for our Color Run! Thank you to everyone who has donated so far! Keep those donations coming in… you might be next in line to pie a staff member in the face! 🎉🥧

Some highlights from the Civics Showcase at UMass Dartmouth! We are so proud of our students for representing our school with such thoughtfulness, creativity, and confidence. Way to go!

Congratulations to our students of the month!! ⭐️

It's coming....(June 8-12)....

Grade 6 had a fantastic time at their field trip to USA Skates! Students connected science and creativity by comparing a cell to a roller rink, then designing edible cells and organelles using cookies, frosting, and candy. Such a fun way to bring learning to life!

Assistant Principal Ms. Greening had the chance to visit with some Grade 5 students this morning for a special read-aloud, helping model fluency, expression, and a love of reading. It was wonderful to see students engaged and enjoying the story together!

Thank you to Mr. Paul Hogan for speaking with our 7th and 8th graders this morning about his career as an EMT and first responder. Our students loved hearing about his experiences and learning more about this important profession!

Mr. Yangambi took one for the team today and got a pie in the face as part of our Color Run incentive! 🥧🎉
Who will be next? The more money you raise, the better your chances of seeing another staff member get pied! Keep those donations coming and let the fun continue!

2026 Annual Color Run!

Today, a few of our 8th graders had the opportunity to meet with Representative Howitt and Representative Hawkins to learn more about the legislative process and civic engagement.
As part of their Civic Action Project, several students reached out to Representative Howitt to gather more information about bill H.1764, An Act to Establish an Animal Abuse Registry. After responding to the students’ emails, Representative Howitt and Representative Hawkins visited to speak with the group, answer questions, and discuss the importance of civic involvement.
We are so proud of our students for taking initiative, advocating for an issue they care about, and engaging in meaningful conversations about government and community action. Thank you to Representative Howitt and Representative Hawkins for taking the time to connect with our students today!
