Solar Eclipse Events

On Monday April 8, 2024 there will be a total solar eclipse starting at 2:15pm and ending at 4:38pm. In this area almost the full eclipse (91% of the sun will be covered) will be able to be seen. Please see the full flier or visit the 2024 Solar Eclipse Webpage for a list of activities to complete leading up to and during the event hosted by the Attleboro Public Library and the Attleboro/Norton YMCA.

Come and find out what Attleboro has to offer its families with children 6 years old and younger. This fair is a FREE event and will have plenty of FREE fun activities for the kiddos. Face Painting, balloon animals,storywalk, FREE used books from infant to adult, FREE eye screenings, activities at each agency table, giveaways and every family will receive a ticket to enter in our prize drawings!

The Emmett Larkin Memorial Fund provides resources and support for at risk youth and families in Attleboro and surrounding communities. It provides less fortunate children the opportunity to participate in a variety of recreational programs and events through the Attleboro Recreation Department at no cost to them or their families.

New City Alert System: Civic Ready

CivicReady is a new subscription service for residents to receive emergency and informational alerts via email AND text. CivicReady will be used for alerts related to emergencies, weather, trash/recycling, health, water, and city news.
