Print your own 5"x7" cyanotype with Providence-based artist, Kim Arthurs @moonersmakes, in this cyanotype workshop popup! Cyanotype is a historical, alternative photographic printing process that combines light-sensitive iron salts with sunlight to create a blueprint. In this workshop, you can print your own 5"x7" cyanotype with the guidance of Kim using pre-treated cyanotype paper, UV lamp, local botanicals (or bring your own!), and develop it in water. Learn about the history and science of cyanotype while you watch the cyanotype printing and development process.
