Associates for Human Services

Associates for Human Services (AHS) provides free, in-home weekly services to low-income families that have children birth through 3y and pregnant moms. During weekly in-home visits parents develop self-sufficiency, access resources, nutritional assessments, hearing and vision screenings, behavioral and academic assessments and safety items (if available). AHS offers Socialization Playgroups 2x a month, and works with families to prepare the child with school readiness skills (our services end when the child turns 3y).

Rise Above Foundation is a nonprofit which provides enriching experiences and activities to children and youth experiencing foster care in Massachusetts. Social workers, youth, foster parents, or anyone else supporting a youth (teacher, mentor, clinician, etc.) can complete a funding application for things such as (but not limited to): karate, dance, gymnastics, music lessons; team sports fees, uniforms, equipment; tickets to activities and events; speciality summer camps; class trips; special occasion clothes like prom; and more.
