Catholic Charities, Youth and Young Adult Program 

New Bedford, MA 02744 

A youth in crisis or in need of shelter can call the New Bedford Coordinated Entry System Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm at 508-999-4757. 

For after hours and weekend emergencies, young adults needing shelter may contact 24/7 call line at Sister Rose Shelter for initial triage and referral into one of the individual emergency shelters within Bristol County.
If you need help with transportation, call 211 and ask the call operator about a free ride with LYFT.

South Coastal Counties Legal Services’ advocacy team provides free legal services to low-income and older residents of Southeastern MA, Cape Cod & Islands.

Good Neighbor Energy Fund

The Massachusetts Good Neighbor Energy Fund is available to any Massachusetts resident who, because of temporary financial difficulty, cannot meet a month's energy expense and is not eligible for state or federal energy assistance. Income must fall between 60 and 80 percent of the state's median income levels.

Receive a monthly service discount, up to $30/month off of your internet bill from participating providers.

You may qualify for this program based on income or if you, or your child or dependent, are enrolled in government programs like Medicaid, SNAP, WIC, or others.
