Though school is not in session, we would like to share some important information with you. Please see below and refer to the attached documents for more information.
Free and Reduced Lunches
When COVID started, the federal government created a national policy that allowed schools in the entire country to provide free meals to all students. As of now, it is likely that this national policy will end. While this decision is not yet final, we want to give all families the time and information necessary to prepare for this change. What this means for Attleboro families is that next school year we plan to return to the traditional system, where students receive free, reduced-price, or full-price meals based upon income status. The most important thing that you can do to prepare for the start of school is to complete the 22-23 MA Application for Free and Reduced Price Meals, which will be available at a date, still to be determined, in July 2022 in hard copy and on our website. Please refer to the letter attached to the email sent on 7.06.2022 for detailed information.
2022-2023 Transportation Reminder
The deadline to apply for Fee for Service Transportation for the 2022-2023 school year is July 29, 2022. We will not be able to guarantee a seat on the bus for the start of the school year for anyone who has not applied for transportation by the deadline. Late applications received after the enrollment period are placed on a waiting list and beginning Monday, September 12, 2022, will be processed on a first come, first serve basis. Central Office Closure
Attleboro Public Schools’ Central Office is moving! Central Office will be closed to visitors from July 11, 2022-July 15, 2022. Please expect delays from all Central Office departments in preparation to reopen on Monday, July 18, 2022. You can visit the new Central Office on Monday, July 18, at 1 Blue Pride Way, Attleboro MA.
You can expect more information regarding the Free and Reduced-Price Lunch Applications along with the opening of the new Welcome Center in Central office soon.

Recordatorio de Transporte 2022-2023
La fecha límite para solicitar el pago por el servicio de transporte para el año escolar 2022-2023 es el 29 de julio de 2022. Cierre de la Oficina Central
