Medical Requirements

The Attleboro Publics Schools adhere to Massachusetts Regulations, 105 CMR 200.000 & 220.000 which require a Physical Examination and up-to-date Immunizations prior to school entry.

School immunization requirements exist to protect students and members of their community from serious vaccine-preventable diseases by ensuring high vaccination rates.

Requirements apply to all students including individuals from another country attending or visiting classes or educational programs as part of an academic visitation or exchange program. Requirements apply to all students, even if over 18 years of age.

* Any family in need of immunizations should contact their Primary Care doctor. If you do not have a Primary Care doctor, you are encouraged to make an appointment with Manet Community Health Center.


Physical Examination (PE)

All Physical Examinations must be performed by a Licensed Medical Physician, a Physician’s Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner practicing under the provisions of existing state law.  PE required:

Prior to:
Pre K Kindergarten Grade 5 Grade 9
Upon entry to Attleboro Public Schools
Annually for High School Sports
