Restricted Movement
Purpose/Reason
An event involving a single person experiencing a severe illness or injury that restricts the movement of other students. These are often handled by trained school professionals and first responders.
Examples
A student has a seizure.
Alert Signal
Announcement telling the staff that there is restricted movement in a specific hallway/location in the school.
Staff Responsibility
Classrooms in the area affected should shut their door and not let students leave the classroom.
Clear the hallway of anyone who is not involved in the incident and bring them to your classroom.
Classrooms in the non affected area can continue class as normal.
If the incident is in your classroom remove the students who are not involved in the incident and follow the directions of the nurse.
Student Responsibility
Continue with class as normal.

Administration will communicate with the staff
