The Attleboro High School Music Department is proud to announce that its annual Winter Concert will be held this year on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 7pm in the Robert H. Bray Auditorium. Admission is free, although donations are gladly accepted ($3 suggested). Performances will include the Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Select Choir, Grade 9 Band, Grade 9 Chorus, and Mixed Chorus. The program will include a variety of selections including: Selections from the Polar Express, White Winter Hymnal, All I Want for Christmas is You, Sleigh Ride, Nutcracker Jingles, and Take Me Home. A holiday carol sing-along featuring the select choir leading the audience in Silent Night & Deck the Halls to name a few!

As you may be aware, a disturbing nationwide trend has made its way to Massachusetts.
While the Attleboro Public Schools community has not received any reports of these messages yet, they have been reported in several states, including Alabama, California, Mississippi, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee.
In these states, students of color have received texts that have some variation of a message that they have been “selected to pick cotton at the nearest plantation.”
This is an abhorrent trend that does not reflect our values as a school community or a people. Racism in any form has no place in our schools, our community, or our society, and we will stand firm in our efforts to eradicate it.
Massachusetts State Police have been notified of the instances that occurred in Massachusetts, and police in other communities are working with the Commonwealth Fusion Center to investigate the matter and share resources. Please contact your local police should you have received a message as described above.

This year's 'Beyond the Surface' theme inspired hands-on sessions, tech exploration, and meaningful connections with peers—all centered around advancing technology integration in education. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn, share, and grow together. #EdTech

Bus routes for the 2024-2025 school year are now available. Please note that applications received after August 22, 2024, will NOT have a seat on the bus assigned for the start of the school year. Transportation Applications are due July 25, 2024. Any Fee for Service applications received after this date will be processed in the order that they are received and are not guaranteed a seat on the bus for the start of the school year. New this year, all eligible students, including Kindergarten and First grade, who wish to ride the bus to/from any of the Attleboro Public Schools MUST complete the Transportation Application to secure transportation.
